ABOUT the STUDIO

MAISON BLANCHE is the Chicago-based creative studio of Christen Whitehouse. Her work is greatly informed by her love of modern art as well as extensive travels within Europe, North Africa, the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico and two years (collectively) spent living abroad and immersed in the culture of both Europe and Asia. She also grew up inspired by her father, who is an amazing illustrator and painter with the most incredible handwriting. Christen lives in Chicago with her husband (an architect and talented artist himself) and their three small children. She has spent a decade working in the events industry and is excited to bring all of her inspiration and experience to your most special day!
